UNDER CONSTRUCTION
ART SHOW
Named initially after the scaffolding held up over the 1920’s historical building in Hollywood, the show was held at the Space Gallery while the entire building was "Under Construction."
The idea of setting up an elevated boutique environment in an art gallery to introduce the collaboration of menswear designer Antonio Barragan and womenswear designer Iliana de Boisblanc, along with high end LA design team, B*+S Studio and iconic vintage collector Valerie Hooe with Well Worn Art. Barragan’s pieces are made with exotic skins and re-vamped vintage.
De Boisblanc designed a unisex/ women’s capsule collection with Barragan’s leftover fabrics specifically for this event which were turned into art pieces and wearable gowns. The 1980’s vintage parachute and recycled medal rods hung from 25’ ceilings to create the mood and the use of space.
