At the Hiari Project, our goal is to prepare the girls for school, to provide learning a creative craft for expression of their stories, and to give them agency to advocate for their health, success, and independence.

Our programs are created to provide a way for people who cannot become foster parents to still have a meaningful and effective way to help children in foster care.

The Trevor Project is an American nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. They also offer guidance and resources to parents and educators in order to foster safe, accepting, and inclusive environments at home and at school.

The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Its mission is to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles through housing, wellness, employment, and advocacy.
